February Topic:

Disaster Preparedness / Dealing with Disaster: A Q&A on How We Can Better Prepare For, and Respond to, Catastrophic Events

Handling an individual fire, flood, or other catastrophic event is always a tough situation. But when dealing with a disaster that affects the entire community you’re faced with a whole new level of devastation and likely confusion on what to do next. The Marshall Fire, as an example, has raised a slew of questions for managers and homeowner leaders who are asking: What do we do now? What are we going to be facing tomorrow? How can we be better prepared for future disasters

CAI wants to help you tackle these questions in a virtual Q&A session on February 22, 2022, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Whether you’ve been impacted by the Marshall Fire directly, or you simply want to learn how to best prepare for, and respond to, a disaster situation, come have a conversation with insurance expert Tressa Bishop of USI Insurance Services and legal expert Debra Oppenheimer of Altitude Community law. Tressa and Debra will field your insurance and legal questions, and help you with the challenges that are typically faced when confronted with a disaster.

Thank you to our workshop sponsors who value continuing conversation to improve community associations in Colorado.
